View Programs is a tool that enables reporters to view and add information regarding the industry-recognized credentials available to students enrolled in state-approved CTE programs. This is only a data collection tool and information collected cannot be used for 2S1 Federal Reporting purposes. Districts should not be concerned if a program currently does not lead to a credential. Many occupations do not require credentials, and the data collected will only be used as baseline data.

How to View Programs and Available Credentials

To open the View Programs page:

  1. Log into CTEIS at www.cteis.com using your MEIS username and password.
  2. From the navigation bar, click Data Entry, then View Programs.
  3. Click the book icon of a program that you wish to review. Program Details are displayed in a panel.

Beneath the Program Details panel, review the list of industry-recognized credentials, then mark each that is offered through your program by clicking the checkbox in the "Select" column.

Credential — Refers to the type of credential granted.

Licensing Cert Program — Refers to the name of a certificate or license.

Issuing Organization — Refers to the organization that issues the certificate or license for the program.

Select — Indicates if the students enrolled in this program have the opportunity to earn the selected credential. This field may be toggled; a check mark indicates that the specified credential can be earned through your program. An empty checkbox indicates that the specified credential is not applicable to your program.

How to Select or Remove an Existing Credential

To select an existing credential for your program:

  1. Within the Credentials grid, locate a credential that you would like to associate with your program.
  2. In the Select column, click the empty checkbox next to a credential. A check mark appears, indicating that the specified credential can be earned through your program.

To remove an existing credential from your program:

  1. Within the Credentials grid, locate a credential that you want to remove from your program.
  2. In the Select column, click the active checkbox next to a credential. The check mark disappears, indicating that the specified credential is no longer associated with your program.

You can filter and sort columns by clicking on the various column headers within the grid.

How to Add or Delete a New Credential

To add a new credential for your program:

  1. Above the Credentials grid, click the Add Other Certification button. The Add a New Certification pop-up window opens.

  2. In the Licensing or Certification Program text field, type the name of the new certification and click the Add Other Certification button. The new certification is now associated with your program.

To delete a new credential from your program:

  1. Within the Credentials grid, locate a previously inserted Other credential that you would like to remove from your program.
  2. In the Select column, click the active checkbox next to a credential. The check mark disappears, indicating that the specified Other credential is deleted and is no longer associated with your program.

You may choose to add or delete a new credential at any time.
